Rick Maddox in: Armor, the Warcaste Chronicles

As writer/artist, it gives me great pleasure to be able to submit to you my graphic novel. Rick Maddox: Armor is a story for readers interested in classic sci-fi and modern superhero action with a dash of very light satire.

This graphic novel will be presented in color and likely serialized online within my own website. It is a story which is enjoyable for adults of all ages. I think that Rick Maddox: Armor would make a great addition to your current publications.

The year is 2058...

...Decades of natural, political, and economic disaster have drastically changed the United States. With the controversial nanotech provided by SinCorp, cities are being destroyed and rebuilt molecule by molecule. Social imbalance, however, is prevalent. Despite advances in America's physical reconstruction, society is still on the verge of anarchy.

Amongst the chaos is Rick Maddox, slacker of the future who is on the verge of losing his job, his apartment, and his girlfriend. Rick is ripped from the his life of insignificance when he is transformed into Armor. He has received this mysterious power at a time when the world around him is wrought with injustice.

As Armor, Rick is capable of executing fantastic otherworldly feats. Unable to comprehend the magnitude of the gifts that he has been given, Rick is frustrated by his first attempt to use these powers. Rick tries to retreat to his former life of insignificance, but that life has fallen apart.

Homeless and unemployed, Rick has no choice but to accept the cosmic power of Armor. Rick performs minor deeds of heroism around the city. Armor's abilities ultimately prove far too extreme when facing regular human enemies, and he realizes that he must be destined to face a much greater enemy.
